New Orleans Streetlight Maintenance
City of New Orleans Takes Over Streetlight Maintenance
-
Effective June 30, 2007, Entergy New Orleans will no longer be the service
provider responsible for maintaining streetlights in Orleans Parish.
-
Through the city's bidding process, the city of New Orleans has employed a
contractor to maintain streetlights. While Entergy New Orleans will still
provide power to the lights, the city and its contractors will be responsible
for repairing burned out lights and installing new lights.

After June 30, 2007, customers should report streetlight outages and related
questions to the following number: 504-658-2299. City residents can also dial
3-1-1.
-
Entergy New Orleans will continue to focus its efforts on providing
outstanding service to its electric and gas customers.
After June 30, 2007, if there is a streetlight out in your neighborhood,
call 504-658-2299. City residents can call 3-1-1.
